This Privacy Policy describes how MagnaTech ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects the information gathered through the Magnaflow mobile application, used by delivery drivers to manage their routes, deliveries, and proof-of-delivery workflows.

1. Information We Collect

Magnaflow collects only the data necessary to provide delivery management services to drivers and logistics operators.

Location

Permission: Precise Location (Foreground & Background)

We collect your device's GPS location while the app is in use to help you navigate to distribution hubs, warehouses, and customer delivery addresses. Location data is also used to verify that deliveries are completed at the correct destination and to optimize routing. Location is not tracked when the app is closed.

Camera

Permission: Camera Access

Camera access is used exclusively to capture proof-of-delivery photos — such as images of delivered packages, signatures, or drop-off locations. These photos are attached to the corresponding delivery record and shared with logistics operators for verification purposes. The camera is never accessed without an explicit driver action.

2. How We Use Your Information

To display your current position on the in-app map and provide turn-by-turn directions to hubs and customer addresses.
To confirm delivery completion at the correct geographic location.
To attach proof-of-delivery photos to delivery orders for record-keeping and dispute resolution.
To allow logistics supervisors to monitor delivery status and fleet operations.
To improve the reliability and accuracy of route recommendations.

3. Data Sharing

Your location and delivery data are shared only with the logistics operator or company you are employed by or contracted through. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third-party advertisers. Data may be disclosed if required by applicable law or legal process.

4. Data Retention

Location history and proof-of-delivery photos are retained for a period determined by your employer's or operator's data retention policy, typically up to 90 days, after which they are deleted from our servers. You may request early deletion of your data by contacting us.

5. Data Security

All data transmitted between the Magnaflow app and our servers is encrypted in transit using TLS. Proof-of-delivery images are stored in encrypted cloud storage with access restricted to authorized operators only.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you.
Request correction of inaccurate data.
Request deletion of your data.
Withdraw consent for location or camera access at any time through your device settings. Note that doing so may limit core app functionality.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Magnaflow app after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
